You can't help but be touched by the story of Jon "Blazeman" Blais, an Ironman in so many ways.
Diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease in May, 2005, Jonathan Blais did the unthinkable when he finished the Ford Ironman World Championship later that year. The next year he returned to Hawaii (World Championships) in a wheelchair as a spectator.
